Petronas SIC`s Indonesian tour ignites excitement for MotoGP Malaysia, aiming to engage fans and surpass attendance records.

Petronas Sepang International Circuit (Petronas SIC) is revving up excitement as it embarks on an international regional tour across Indonesia, promoting the highly anticipated Grand Prix of Malaysia, or MotoGP Sepang 2025, set to take place from October 24 to 26, 2025. This dynamic tour will touch down in four major cities: Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Medan, with a special event scheduled in Makassar on July 4, 2025, at Black Canyon, Jalan Hertasning.

The initiative invites travel agents, the Ikatan Motor Indonesia, and media representatives to engage with the event, showcasing the significance of Indonesian fans in the global motorsport community. CEO Azhan Shafriman Hanif expressed his enthusiasm for the robust support from Indonesian fans, who are considered a crucial pillar of the international fanbase. In 2024, over 12,000 Indonesian fans attended the MotoGP in Malaysia, and the goal for 2025 is to surpass this number through the roadshow that begins in Jakarta and continues through Surabaya, Makassar, and Medan.

In addition, the complete schedule for the JuniorGP 2025 has been announced, with the third series taking place at Magny-Cours, France, from July 4 to 6, 2025, featuring Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama from Astra Honda Racing Team.
