In Benghazi, in eastern Libya, pilots from all over the country took part in a drift championship.
A rare unifying event as the country seeks to end years of conflict.
On board BMW, the competitors lined up on the asphalt before attacking the track near the Benghazi waterfront.
Under the theme "unity and peace for Libya", the drift championship was planned by an association of BMW enthusiasts and sponsored by a Russian oil and gas company.
