Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary Manchester United manager from 1986 to 2013, is no longer the club's global ambassador, as reported by The Athletic. This change comes as owner Jim Ratcliffe implements a budget-cutting policy amidst a challenging start to the season for Erik Ten Hag's team, currently sitting 14th in the Premier League after seven matches. Ferguson will remain as a non-executive director and reportedly received £2.16 million for his services since retiring.
