Emmaculate Anyango Suspended for Doping Violations

Kenyan athlete Emmaculate Anyango has been suspended for six years due to doping violations, as announced by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU). The 24-year-old tested positive for testosterone and erythropoietin (EPO) four times between February and June 2024.
Her provisional suspension began in October, and the AIU has annulled her results from February 3, 2024. However, her impressive 10 km time of 28:57 achieved in January remains valid, making her the second woman to run under 29 minutes.
