Faith Kipyegon s'octroie un 3e record mondial

C'est fait, la Kényane Faith Kipyegon a décroché le record mondial du mile à la Diamond League -Meeting de Monaco ce vendredi avec un chrono de 47.64 et réalise par la suite son 3e record après celui du 1500m et du 5000m en juin dernier. L'ancien record détenu par la néerlandaise Sifan Hassan a donc été battu par la Kényane de 29 ans qui a devancé l'irlandaise Ciara Mageean 2e avec un chryde 4:14.58 et l'Ethiopienne Freweyni Hailu médaillée de bronze grâce à sa 3e place.
