Sandro Tonali Ban From Football For Two Months

Sandro Tonali has been given a suspended two-month ban from competitive football by an independent Regulatory Commission after self- declaring breaches of FA Betting Rules.

This happens for placing 40 to 50 bets on football, including up to 4 on Newcastle — all for his team to win and also he played in 3 of those official games.

He has also been fined £20,000 but as things stand, he can 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

“Provided that he does not commit any further breach of the FA Betting Rules during the suspension period, Sandro will not serve any part of the new two-month sanction”, Newcastle have confirmed.

Tonali is now continuing to follow a therapeutic plan and educational programme with the club’s full support and will continue to train with his teammates, club reports. #epl #betting #ban
