Rea to miss Italian World Superbike round

Due to a hand injury, six-time World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea will be absent from the next race in Italy.
The right thumb of Yamaha rider Rea was cut during race one of the French round at Magny-Cours on September 8, necessitating surgery.
For the Italian round at Cremona, Yamaha test rider Niccolo Canepa will take the 36-year-old's position.
