Usyk beats Fury to become undisputed champion

by a historic evening in Saudi Arabia, Tyson Fury lost by split decision as Oleksandr Usyk emerged as the first-ever four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion in boxing history.

Briton Fury had a strong start on a monumental stage on a night that would define his reputation, but after a Usyk onslaught in the ninth round, he was given a standing count and saved by the bell.

A stony-faced Usyk broke down in tears when he was officially declared the winner, although Fury seemed certain of victory during the nervous wait for the scorecards to be given out.
