In a thrilling showdown, the Georgia Bulldogs pulled off a stunning upset against the No. 3 Florida Gators, winning 88-83 in Athens, Georgia. The Bulldogs surged to a commanding 26-point lead in the first half, showcasing their offensive prowess. Georgia`s Blue Cain emerged as the hero, sinking a crucial go-ahead 3-pointer with 47 seconds remaining, allowing the Bulldogs to regain the lead. They closed out the game with a decisive 10-3 run, marking their first victory over a top-3 ranked opponent since 2004 and ending a 17-game losing streak against such teams.
