وبحسب خبير الانتقالات الشهير فابريزيو رومانو، على حسابه الرسمي بموقع تويتر، فإن دي ماريا سيبقى في صفوف بنفيكا لموسم آخر.
وأضاف "تم إبرام الاتفاق بين الطرفين، حيث أرادت إدارة بنفيكا، استمراره لموسم آخر، ووافق اللاعب على الأمر".
يذكر أن دي ماريا أعلن أنه سيعتزل اللعب الدولي مع منتخب بلاده، بغض النظر عن مشوار الفريق الحالي في بطولة كوبا أمريكا 2024.
وكان منتخب الأرجنتين قد بلغ نهائي كوبا أمريكا، ليضرب موعدا ناريا ضد كولومبيا، صباح الإثنين المقبل.
وخلال مسيرته مع منتخب الأرجنتين، التي بدأت عام 2008، خاض دي ماريا 144 مباراة دولية، وسجل 31 هدفا.
